Tokyo is an evolution of our Kyoto indoor leather slipper. Since almost everyone who saw it asked, “Can I wear it outside?”, we decided to make a version you can take to the streets.
Like all TOKU products, Tokyo leather shoes are inspired by Japanese minimalist design aesthetics.
Upper: natural vegetable-tanned leather
Insole: soft, breathable, and lined with natural cork
Outsole: EVA + PU
Includes a felt polishing cloth for cleaning and maintaining the leather
All TOKU shoes are handmade in southern Estonia by a small family business that has been crafting footwear since 1927. Following slow fashion principles, they use high-quality natural materials to make shoes that last. TOKU has won multiple design awards, and the Estonian Design Awards jury called TOKU “The New Estonian Classic.”
